We are very glad and honored to be a part of the University Consortium for Applied Hypersonics (UCAH) as an Institutional Affiliate and Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) member.
Background of the Consortium: The FY20 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), directed the Department of Defense (DoD), through the Joint Hypersonic Transition Office (JHTO), to stand-up a University Consortium to further basic and applied research in the area of hypersonics. The University Consortium for Applied Hypersonics (UCAH) is such a consortium funded by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (the “Sponsor”), under an Other Transaction Authority Agreement Number HQ00342190007 (the “OTA”) dated and effective October 26, 2020. The Undersecretary of Defense, the Joint Hypersonic Transition Office, and agencies of the Department of Defense, together or separately, “Government”.
